Shifter boot with hurst shifter

I'm sure this has been answered on here but I was unable to find it. I am installing a hurst shifter with the hurst stick and ball in my 73 vette. Will this work with the stock shifter boots (both upper and lower)? Both my boots are shot so I wanted to make sure before I ordered new ones.

My 68 had lower stock boot and later model leather upper. Both worked fine with the Hurst shifter and stick. Hope that helps.

My 73 has both stock upper and lower boots with a Hurst Comp Plus shifter....fits fine.

I'm not sure what stock upper boot is on a 73, so maybe being redundent here. Hurst shifter and stick work fine with rubber lower and rubber upper boot on a 69.

Thanks for the replys, mine has the rubber lower boot and leather upper boot, sounds like they should work fine with the hurst shifter stick.
