Default 68 lap belts
Question, does a 68 corvette lap belt have retractors on one side?

Toss up. Buckle ends did not retract. The tongue ends on my 68 do not retract and are not mounted on retractors. Other 68 owners say their belts retract.

and like you would put retractors where? shoulder belts in 68- no retractors. 69 shoulders belts have retractors none on lap belts. some consoles have pockets for the buckle end to sit in, nothing on door side. 69 had clip on front of seat to hold door side belt in place when not in use.
