Default RR wheel won't come off...........1981 .

Enki 8.5''. Looks like the traditional center line wheels. Removed the nuts, Wheel rocks in and out like it's on bent lugs......but there not. I'm thinking the trailing arm bearing is loose, causing the wheel to jam on the caliper?............Haven't got any further. What next?...............

i'm not sure if understanding this correctly but it sounds like the riviets were drilled out of the rotors and the wheel is frozen to the rotor.are the rotors drilled out on the lr ?

Pry on the rotor from the inside of the rim... might take two people exerting pressure at the same time. Do not hammer on anything yet, be patient and work it a bit at a time. Unless that wheel spent some time immersed in water it should pop loose without "massive BFH" type persuasion.

Don't forget to spray some penetrant onto the lugs and from behind. Then wait awhile, rock it, spray it again and repeat. If that doesn't work, then I'd be jacking up the back of the car, putting it on jackstands and having someone wiggle the wheel and watch what moves. You could also use your leg to kick the tire from the backside repeatedly, while rotating it between kicks (I've done this and it's worked).

Only kick or hammer if less violent methods fail. You can certainly force the issue but will certainly damage the parking brake assembly if the rotor is no longer rivited.

Alum. wheels get stuck to hubs too, usually if you kick the top and bottom or right and left it will come loose, but if your is wiggling I would get it up in the air and look from the back, make sure its not pulling the rotor or caliper with it.

Put the lug nuts back on but leave them 1-2 turns loose. Roll the car back and forth till the wheel comes loose.

Way to go ward............ You've won a free trip for two. See the moderators for info. Man...........I stuck the nuts back on loose, and drove the thing till I herd a clunk. And it took 100 ft. Have no idea why it was stuck, but I'm on a roll........Im loosening the lugs on my laptop, and see what happens too.........
