Replacing rear spring bushings
After 227K miles, I think I need to replace my rubber bushings. Goint to stick with rubber. Do not want any hardness that poly will give. And, my life has fewer miles left than the car.
Is there a link that shows how to do it? Have not been able to find it.

are you talking about the ones at the ends of the springs?

you will need to remove the bolts at the end of the springs. Use a jack to lift up on the springs. A good c-clamp or vice grip attached to the spring will ensure the jack does not slip (that would be bad). remove the bolt then replace the rubber parts.
finally to reassemble, reverse the procedure (sorry I just had to say it)
