Default vibration question

Guys i have a vibration when i hit 2000 rpms ,anything under that its smooth. How can i figure out if its the engine or trans.I put both new in car.I put a tko600 and built a 383 engine. As far as the engine goes ,it was totally rebuilt but it was burning oil so i took it apart to find out why it was burning oil and found out it was a high volume oil pump,it only needed a standard oil pump. But when i looked at the crank it had a little scoreing on the rod journals and then i bought a new scat crank because the other one was a eagle crank,i tried different crank, the crank was external balanced crank like the other one,im thinking maybe a vibration might be coming from the crank,or the transmission. The vibration isnt bad but it makes shifter rattle.I also put solid motor mounts in too,im just try to narrow things down. How would you test to figure which one it is?

do you still have a fan with a clutch on it???? if so look real closely around the shaft and see it shows any evidence of wear. when they start to go bad they create vibrations.

did you change the relation ship of the yoke to the drive shaft? they are balanced together and should have index marks put on them before they are taken apart.

try isolating the problem.....in gear at speed with the vibration push in the clutch....did it go away....put it in neutral...did it go away

in the driveway at 2000 rpm can you feel it

at speed on the highway at the 2000rpm MPH turn off the engine and take itout of gear (when its safe to do so) did it go away? wheel bearings/ tires/ drive shafts etc can create vibrations

Ok i pushed in clutch at 2500 rpms and it still vibrated ,but isnt the drive shaft still turning? But i did rev it up to 4000 rpms with clutch pushed in and it seemed to be the engine,I also added a scat solid balancer for external balanced engines.I wonder if solid motor mounts can transfer vibration through the drive train?

Check the angle of the tailshaft of the transmission in relation to the angle of the rear end. They should be equal but opposite.
