81 locking converter

I'm picking up the B&M kit today. I will let you guys know how it works. I plan to put it in after work Wed. You can set it to lock between the speeds of 30 ~ 90. I'm going to set mine at 60. This way it will only come on when I'm on the interstate. I never drive above 55 in town and I don't want it locking in and out all the time.

The threat of the transmission actually overheating, due to the minuscule amount of inefficiency in the system, is remote.
A diesal towing a house across Texas in August might benefit from it.

I started installing the B&M kit last night and noticed the brake switch that activates the converter lock-up was unpluged. I may have spent money not needed. I think I will go ahead and install the B&M kit so I have the speed adjustment option. I'm thinking about putting the controller either in the glove box or in the battery compartment. I really don't want it on my dash.
Any other locations for mounting I may be missing?
