Default What is it going to take?

I have access to an LT-1 from a '95 Camaro, with 4L60E. What is it going to take to put this in a '75 vert? choice of factory ECM & wiring or an after market ECM wiring etc. Interested in the use of accessory drives, PS, A/C etc in the C-3.

600 bucks plus shipping. Take a look at Howell efi: http://howellefi.com/gm-lt1-products...harnesses.html.

Sounds like fun but the intake and filter will breath hot air from the radiator unless u reconfigure it.

Good luck and let us know how it works out,

There was someone doing it here and it seems you need the Corvette accessory drive.

You can modify the harness if you have wiring talent, the schematics and some time. The wiring basically needs a couple of power feeds and a switched ignition feed.

You'll have to put an electric fan setup into the car since the LT1 doesn't have any way to drive a fan.

For the trans - you have to rework the crossmember. I don't know about floor clearance. The shifter needs the extra gear added if you want to use it.

You have to setup a pump and return line. An inline pump will have the engine stumbling any time it sucks air so you likely want to look at doing some sort of baffles in the tank. Look through some of the LS swap threads for tank ideas.

Yeah the accessory drive looked to be a concern. I have a 700-4R or a 4L60E that I could use, the car is an automatic, TH 400.

I'd use the 4L60e for sure. You'll love having it when you modify the shift points.

If you have the entire powertrain (engine/trans), the engine wiring harness should already be there. Use the system "as is", and then just tap-in to the wiring where you need for ignition and signals to the gauges. Someone who has done this probably has info on gauge feeds and what modifications need to be made.

You will have to install an electric fuel pump, but fuel gauge signal doesn't require changing. If you have VOLTS gauge (instead of AMPS gauge), that hook-up should be easy; otherwise you will have to find locations to connect the two lines going to the ammeter. Water temp signal might need some 'signal modification', but there is no reason that the C-3 gauge won't work with the temp sensor output.
