it runs at 200 if not a little under it. I tired cycling it several times and it still wouldnt fire when it was turning over the injectors just barley dripped gas out. right now its warm thats thats why it wont start here in a while it will strat up fine after it cools off
I know I just jumped in here but I think it the oil pressure sending unit! It has to see oil pressure before it turns the fuel pump on. If you look at the TBIs and have someone turn the key to run. You should see the injectors prime (2-3 pulses). After that the motor should fire but if it doesn't see oil pressure the FP will not turn on. The sensor could be bad even if the pressure gauge is showing pressure. costs about $50. There might be a way to bypass it but I don't know.
Also would explain why it might fire up cold, ( cold motors have high oil pressure )
yes ill check in on that. well now i took it out to get it warm came back and wouldnt start like normal so i finally did what jpd6000 told me to do i ran a hot to the g pin and it started right up no problem so i guess when it gets warm something is shutting off the fuel pump

some other things to check....
...fuel pump relay (located next to the ECM on driver's side) It's possible that your problem may be between the pump and the pump relay, or the relay itself.
...PROM connection in the ECM....to see if it is seated properly in the ECM.

Interesting. They only thing that would shut off the fuel pump is the oil pressure sensor. Unless something is heating up and malfunctioning.
Its the orange and the tan/strip that kills the signal. I never done this but logic suggest that if you connect these two wires it by passes the sensor. The solid tan goes to the gauge.
I think what you could do and I've done this just for the fun of it is unplug the the oil pressure sensor and start the engine. It should start when cold with the unit unplugged. Drive the car get it hot and see if the it starts again. If this works its a safe bet that the sensor is bad.
ive still been messing with my car trying to figure out what was wrong with it and why it wouldnt start. i finally figured it out it was the fuel pump relay yes i had replaced it but i guess the new one was **** so im not sure if im going to ever get anything from ecklers corvette again but i put the old relay in and the car fired right up. i was going to try this earlier but i didnt know where it was because my dad had passed away and he had left the car to me so everything in the house was moved around from everyone getting his stuff together but thank you to everyone for there help with this

I am sure the other members along with myself offer prayers for the passing of your Dad, hoping that you will have many happy memories of him.
Glad you are up and running, it has been awhile. So do tell, how did you finally figure out it was the fuel pump relay???? Tom
well when this whole not starting thing started i first replaced the fuel pump and when i replaced it i guess i switched the wires around but i fixed that a long time ago but after the fuel pump didnt work i changed the fuel pump relay and still didnt work so i changed the filter then a guy i know seen what i did to the wires to the fuel pump when i put a new sending unit in it but the other day i was thinking about how i changed the relay when what was wrong then was the fuel pump wire so i looked around for the old relay found it and figured what the hell its worth a try to plug it back in and what do you know it fired right up
