any idea why the turn signal blinkers on the dash stay on full when headlights are on? they blink when lever is turned one way or the other. they go out with headlights and work normally.
Check the turn signal lamps/bulbs for a burned open element when headlights pulled on. Have to inspect each one individually. Wouldn't hurt to check the side marker lamps too. Check the wires and sockets for the obvious (broken connections/corroded/etc).
Easy inspection to begin with. Let us know what you find.

My turn signal was acting a bit flaky. Not the same symptom as you have. My signals worked fine with lights off. Lights on and strange things happened.
Changed the flasher, no help.
I started removing bulbs one at a time starting in the rear. When I removed the right rear tail light trouble disappeared. I cleaned the bulb socket put the bulb back in and all was normal.
So It could just be a corroded socket, bad socket or wiring to a socket. Don't forget to check the front as well.
Good luck.
