I know we have been down this road before and I don't want to belabor the point but......
If you swap out the stock AC Delco fuel pump for an aftermarket ie. Edelbrock or Holley what do you do with the vapor return line? This from all info helps to prevent vapor lock. Who has done this, what happened to the line and what problems if any have you had? Thanks.
The holley I have had an unthreaded boss on the pump body that I threaded for the pipe fitting on the return line. You have to drill a hole into the pump of course, about 3/16 so you maintain much pressure.
I've found the Holley pumps run about 8#s which is pushin' the limit of the carb needle and seats anyway.
This setup yields about 5 1/2-6#s
May seem like a lot of :bs to go thru, but I like the return line
