I have two problems with the washer on my 1970 coupe.
1) One headlamp washer hose "T" is broken. Is this a simple "T" or does it have a check valve in it? Reading through the service manual, I get the impression that the check valve is in the pump, not at the "T", but not sure.
2) I think I hear the washer pump clicking, but no fluid is getting pumped. The previous owner probably didn't use the pump for years. Does it need to be primed? Should I just replace it?
Many thanks for first hand experience with these issues!
I took the "T" out, and it does indeed have check valves. Now the question is, who has these? I can't find them in either Paragon or Mid-America catalogs!
