a edelbrock rpm performer and a 670 holley will fit under the hood of an 82. Retiring the crossfire soon, to much time and money involved in getting it up to flow for a ZZ4. I did do a search andn found lots of combinations but none of these parts.

Chances are highly unlikely that it/they will work.
But...here is how you can find out....and is how I have to do it when "things" are being changed from factory.
Using what ever way you can think of..(simple if you think about it) you have to be able to measure from the top highest surface of the air cleaner to the area where the intake manifold contacts the engine block at the front. The area where using silicone/RTV is used to make the intake seal to the engine block.
\Once you have identified this distance. Then it is time to start calling tech lines and getting measurements of the intake from this front mount surface to the carb surface...AND YES...they have this measurement...and then doing the calculations. So when you take into account the gasket(s) between the carb and intake and the air cleaner being used...it has to be in the measurement to obtained from the beginning.
JUST REMEMBER...getting these aftermarket parts measurements within or the SAME as what you originally measured the factory as in the beginning is fine and awesome if you do so. BUT...if you start adding to this...thus making it get closer to the underside of the hood...you can be entering into an area of destruction. Engine twisting and a 1/4" to 1/2" change can make you have bad day. DO NOT ask me how I know this.
