Engine shake at idle

Engine shake at idle
Hi All,
Last week the Carb flooded and the only way to keep engine running was to keep foot on the gas. This stopped after about a day then all was fine. I now notice that the engine will shake a bit at low idle . It is smooth at a little higher idle. After about 10-15 minutes of driving it shakes less. What can cause this? I ordered a rebuilt Quadrajet. Is the Carb the problem? The car is a 4 speed with a/c and no belt on the a/c compressor. Last tuneup was 2-3 years ago but car driven in summer only not much.
