If you don't have a strap wrench, wrap the drive belt around the pulley, wind a pry bar up in it and go. Won't do the belt any good, but you can get the nut tight.

no room for a impact, because of the fan shroud. I will try the strap wrench, thanks. one more thing I am putting on a power streeing box from borgeson, the hoses are a bitch, no room for a wrench at the box, because of the hearders the wrench is to long, did anyone use crowfoot, to get to the nuts. and do you bottom out the inserts in the box, or use the hoses to get them all the way in ? thanks ray
