Ignition wires(original) Help

Ok, this is probably a really stupid question but I have to ask. Where do the little ground wires on each ignition wire screw down to on the cap side? I figured out the spark plug side screws down to each valve cover screw. I just bought the correct date coded wires for the car that had the wrong wires on it. Thanks in advance.

IIRC, (I haven't had that type wires in forever), the distributor end all grounded to the shielding around the distributor.

Hi blk,
I believe the stud that the braided wire mesh over the spark plug wires grounds to is part of the distributor shield supports.
