Regular AC delco and the like will not fit. However I found that NGK's are short enough with headers for my side pipes. On the iron heads I used UR45's. The accel's mentioned will fit too.

NGK BKR6E plugs on Hookers with 2-1/8" primaries work fine.

I am installing a msd complete kit, it said to gap the plugs to start at 50 to 60 gap. what plugs can I use at 5/8 for a small plug with the heards , power streeing box in the way?

This picture is of an NGK BKR6E short plug on the number 3 cylinder of a 468 with Hooker 2-1/8" primaries. See my post above. The number 6 is the plug heat range. A 5 is hotter, 7 is colder.
This is a photo on the same engine with a regular deep 5/8" socket and a 1" extension. Plenty of room.
I normally use a spark plug socket, but the metal clip from the plug wire broke off on this plug and the rubber insert in the spark plug socket wouldn't fit over the clip.
