Bought a Dual Spal setup from you some years ago, have been running a single core stock radiator from a V8 F body, like year '89, plastic tanks and all, I live in Florida, it's a 350 roller engine, auto trans.....HUGE engine oil cooler between the a/c cond and the radiator, those spals can suck a baseball through a garden hose, and with the computer controls, turn on and off just on time every time, the flaps help with high speed operation, cruising 80 in 100f temps, and they don't even come on, get off the freeway into the inevitable traffic stop/go, and the fans keep everything cool just fine, keep in mind my radiator is STOCK from a '89 V8 F body....so nowhere near the capacity of your monster radiator, that thing could cool a bus.....

for a few pix of the install, see my sites below....may have to copy/paste the url.....

Tom, I have your aluminum restoration radiators in my 61, 65 and 68 big block. They all run 180 all day long and are so good I have the stock clutch fans in all of them

I don't even think about my cooling system anymore outside of just regular maintenance. I have your aluminum radiator and dual fan kit on my 70 coupe. Fantastic product and fantastic support.

Where did you get that air box/duct work? That really looks great. I'd like to put something like that on my '79.

I have a 1971LT1
I used to drive with one eye on the temp gauge
With the DeWitt Rad and stock fan I have never since looked at the gauge
What a difference!!!

Edit : bad grammar.

I want to get one of your rads (995 dollars ) for my ls2, when I complete my frame off.

But all I could find is

http://www.dewitts.com/collections/l...eries-radiator

but it is only for 77 onwards. Will this fit a 76?

The 76 model could have 76 radiators (curved upper inlet) or the 77 radiator (straight) depending on the production date. the 76 radiators used a 27.5" core and the 77 used a 26.25. The bottom line is you want a radiator that will fit into the existing core support. In case it is the 76 (27.5) I added the 6139073A to the list of LS series models

Was doing a search on CAIs and ran across several of your system posts, however I can't get the link to this one to open...Will PM you.
Great looking system!

And since this in DeWitt's thread....I have one of your dual Spal systems and it is fantastic!!! Temp holds rock steady! My OEM radiator and mechanical fan would not keep the 454 cool in traffic. Put the DeWitts in just before upgrading to a new Dart blocked 555, and it has never ran over operating range.

Ever thought of offering a line of CAI adaptors for your radiator uppers to work with LS & Gen IV engines?

Love my dual Spal DeWitts, it is cool in every sense of the word. Since these are shameless endorsements, got it locally from Corvette Clinic. Also saves weight, which makes me wonder Tom if you've ever thought about sourcing an aluminum radiator surround?

I can't help feel that's a loaded question because we have posted our warranty many times. Which is a Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects. Warranties are often misunderstood because people sometimes believe that if the product doesn't last a lifetime or whatever the period is, that you are entitled to a new one.

We went to a Lifetime Warranty a couple years ago because we were treating each case as such. No matter how old the radiator was we always agreed to take a look at it, test it, and repair it if we could.

Yesterday I went to the tire store and I had a set of tires go bald with 50000 miles on them when the warranty was 70000. Most people would think, free tires for me right? No! The place I bought the tires said the warranty was void because I didn't rotate them as scheduled. So I went to another store and the guy said he would check with the manufacturer and they prorated the tires and gave me a 25% discount on new ones, which I did. I didn't deserve anything because I didn't rotate the tires and I did get 50K on them anyway.

Warranties state that a product is free of defects in materials and workmanship for a given period of time. My take on that is if a product meets that description when made, no time period will ever change that. So then it comes down to how long will the manufacturer help you and for us, that's forever.
