Well I finally found c5 corvette wheels. They have tires on them already and they are 17's in the front and 18's in the back.
I do realize I will need a spacer/adapter. I cannot find one anywhere when I google for one. Can someone provide a link of maybe an ebay part that will work? I wont be autocrossing or track so I dont need hubcentric.
I have 4 hub centric adapters for sale. I have 2 3" and 2 2 1/2" adapters. I bought them from Motorsport Technology. I paid $375 and will sell for $ 225 plus shipping. They have never been on the highway.Call me at 217-260 4468 if interested. http://s92.photobucket.com/user/ToTo..._0217.jpg.html
Can you or someone else guarantee that those will work with the wheels on craigslist? Also is there anything else ill need too do? My ebrake dosent work so I wont worry about relocating
The Craig's list link didn't work for me so I didn't get to see the wheels you're talking about. BUT, I can tell you that I also have C5 wheels on my '73 called "Thin Spoke". The wheels are 17"x8.5 in the front, and 18"x9.5 in the rear. The spacers I used are hubcentric 2.75" front and 2.5" in the rear. I bought the spacers from Motorsport Tech.

Those are the exact specs of the one im looking at. They are all black. They have the corvette symbol on the hub cap.they are 5 spoke wheels too. If that helps. Also any problems with the spacers?

ANY spacer/adapter you buy, just make damn good and sure it is hub centric to the steel, at least, and unless you have a very snug fit to longer studs, you better have ten lug nutz to get to the steel/iron rotors....this assures you have a totally SOLID, grenade proof install....do NOT mess with anything less than 'Aircraft billet aluminum' NO CASTINGS ARE EXCEPTABLE!!!!!!!

I didn't have any problems with the spacers fitting the hubs. The problem was finding the proper width. Originally, I had 3" spacers on the rear with the stock trailing arms, but I didn't like that the tires stuck out a little too far. They were flush with the top of the fender well. Once I installed the Van Steel offset trailing arms, I could reduce the spacer thickness to 2.5". Now the tires tuck nicely inside the wheel wells. Up front, I had the 2.5" spacers but the inside wall of the tire lightly rubbed the inside of the wheel well. So I went to 2.75 spacers and that was all I needed.
I agree that cheap cast aluminum spacers should not be used.
