Around this time of year when the humidity gets higher, my brakes get a little noisey after I've been driving awhile. Is it the pad material and if so what kind of pads work well? Do any of the products that I've seen in the catalogs work to remedy this situation? I should also mention that one of the pads got contaminated with brake fluid when one of the pistons leaked over the Winter a few years ago, but hasn't done it since. I cleaned everything up with brake cleaner. Thanks for any advise that you can give me.
If your brakes are making noise, I would start checking it out. I don't think humidity has any thing to do with it. Just my opinion.

If a C3's brakes make noise, they should NOT. My 78's brakes as well as many others I know with these cars don't make noise! With that said, pad material can effect squealing although I have never had an issue with the original Delco pads, semi metallics for years, and Performance Friction Carbon metalllic over the last 10+ years.
My 2008 Chrysler 300 had wagner ceramic replacement pads and new rotors put on it when it was my company car (I subsequently bought it for myself) at 50,000 miles and the ceramic pads squealed on occasion which they never did before. Ceramic pads are suppose to be QUIET! although their brake performance is just adequate! I am about to convert the 300 Limited single piston front calipers and 12 inch rotors to the dual piston Hemi calipers with 13.6 inch rotors with braided steel brake lines and Performance Friction pads!
