Would somebody please tell me the difference in harnesses.
Willcox ,lectric ltd, painless, harness from the corvette catalogs ..etc....etc...
Then there are other harness out on the web like EZ2 wire, reproduction harness, harness for Chevy, hot rod wire etc...etc.... ????????
how many circuit dose a a 1975 C3 have if any ?????
I have always used Lectric Limited harnesses. They are sold by many of the aftermarket suppliers. You just have to check to be sure they sell LL and find the best price including shipping, shipping sometimes makes the difference. Just get the right harness for your year and options and you can't go wrong. JMHO
I had to replace the engine wiring harness in my 69. Based on recommendations from this forum (as I had zero experience with it) I went with Lectric Limited.
It was a perfect match to the original. No problems at all..... well, none that were related to the wiring harness or its manufacturer. You can get them direct from the Lectric Limited or from a number of the corvette parts sellers - sometimes at a discount.
I exchanged all the old wiring in my '73 from end to end with new harnesses from Lectric Limited and everything worked the first time. I also bought both of the oOSOEZ colored diagrams from Dr. Rebuild and they really helped!
Do yourself a favor and skip any idea of a generic harness for a Corvette. Spend the money for a Lectric-Limited reproduction stock harness. Willcox carries them.
