I have just replaced my battery about 3 weeks ago. Went to start car and it was dead. I had some work done to the front and rear suspension would this have some bearing on the starting issue ?
2 simple things to check, make sure your interior lights go off about 30 sec. after the door is closed, and check the light in the glove box. there is a switch that the door has to contact to turn it off.

I checked the interior lights and the glove box, all are going off. I am stumped as to why the battery just started to drain completely dead. Any clues would be appreciated, thanks.
I had this problem as well. After changing the battery, I talked to some folks who work on just Corvettes...they said this is a common ailment for our Vettes, I can't vouch to that either way. So decided to put in a cut-off switch on the battery. When it's parked for more than a few days, I disconnect the battery. Haven't had a problem since, and it's been at least 8 yrs.
My car did this it was a result of the dome light switch in the door shorting out and causing the antitheft to drain the battery. I disconnected that relay and problem solved till I get door switches
i recently had the same problem, the diodes in the alternator were bad, slowly draining the battery, rebuilt alternator,,, diodes and voltage reg., fixed. you can put a test light between your neg. cable and the battery post (light should come one),and pull fuses one at a time, until the light goes out, to determine where the drain is coming from. i had to remove the charge wire on back of the alternator thats how i was able to find mine.
