C2 - C3 Corvette rear end interchange

Will 63-79 Corvette rear end housings all interchange / bolt in to the crossmember? I know the 63-64 internals are different but am just inquiring about the rear end housing.

if you look at parts vendors such as Willcox they list the complete rear end for 63 to 79

Some of the early cars had open diffs. I believe, starting about 1970, all the C3's have positraction. Not quite sure about that date.

Yes. Although the input yoke is sized either for a 1330 or 1310 u-joint, there are conversion u-joints made to join a 1330 driveshaft to a 1310 yoke, or vice versa.

Also the side yokes have either u-bolts or bolted straps, but either will use the same 1350 u-joints with the half shafts.
