My neighbor has the C5 on his El Camino. I think they look great.

I have the chrome c-5. 18X8 on my 77. I like the way they look.

17's all around, have held up great for the past 5 years. wish I had gotten 18's in the rear though.

Hi 7t9l82,

I went with the 18"X8" with 4 inch backspace. The backspace is the same as stock. I believe you could go with 4.5" backspace with some adjustments but I wanted to keep it simple.

The tires are 245/45/18 front and 255/45/18 back. I believe others have gone larger in the back but I didn't want to have any possible rubbing issues so these sizes seemed to work out the best.

My photo shows a little more gap between the tires and the wheel well than I like, but I am in the process of replacing the front and rear suspension components so the car will be lowered by up to an inch at the tires when it is all done.

Hope this helps.

18's 5.0 BS 285 in rear.
Hopefully they have inventory, otherwise you might wait a few months after you place your order.

Yes sir. Dustup7T2 has 5.5 BS. I think he has had tire rub a few times, but its a non issue from what he told me.
