C4 Blower problem
I installed a C4 blower a few years ago and it blowed nice and strong. I read about changing the ground wire to the blower motor to a larger gauge - so I changed it and ran it to an intake bolt for ground.
It blows less now. All 4 fan speeds work - but the air that is coming out of the vents in each speed is much less. I can barely feel air coming out in the High speed position.
I tried undoing my wiring change and connecting back to the original ground wire - no change. I do measure 13+ volts at the wiring connector to the blower motor. I stuck my hand under the dash and behind the glove compartment to see if I was leaking air somewhere - can't find a leak.
I stuck my hand down the cowl and into the fan blades to turn it by hand. I don't feel it dragging or rubbing at all.
I am at a loss and looking for suggestions.
