Default 1971 Registry Milestone!

The 71 Registry has just found it's 100th member!
So that makes 100 members and 222 cars listed.
Not too shabby for a site started last December! http://www.71corevette.com

Looks like we may have some unfortunate downtime next week though.
I'm switching hosting companies. The new ones not done setting up yet and the old one is shutting off the server at the end of the month :( Hopefully it won't last more than a couple days.

Great job Larry. I love the site, its very
Now all we need to do is find the other 21,579 1971 Corvettes
One question???????How can there be 222 cars listed but only 100 members????? Should'nt ther be 222 members? Just wondering.

Thanks guys!

John- the members are the ones that submit data for thier car directly to the registry. The 'extra' cars come from a few sources:
- members sometimes submit other 71's they have found.
- a couple members have more than 1!
- cars I've found at car shows but couldn't locate the owner.
- and the biggest sources...eBay and other online sales listings!

Hey gq82!

As long as the site is available you can go ahead and submit. It's looking more like there won't be much downtime now too.
Thanks!
