Default HELP battery drain

1975 c3 corvette auto
OK, I have removed the neg battery terminal connected a amp meter from post to terminal was drawing 11.5 amps removed fuse one by one and still have a draw ,key in off position, no fuses left in box!
any help would be great ????

Disconnect the alternator and see if it drops the amperage.

Have you made sure the alarm key is off? Removed the circuit breaker for the windows? 11.5 amps is a good sized draw. Does it change with the doors closed?

Wow, that is a big draw. You obviously have something turned on that shouldn't be. Alarm is a good place to start. Aftermarket alarm, stereo, Amp?

The previous owner removed the alarm, tided the two pink together in the back ,and the front under the hood still have the wires unhooked ,all the parts are gone , key cylinder, horn from back. have a wiring diagram from lectric wiring .

Check the wire harness clamped to the back of the alternator. I also have a '75 and the metal clamp wore thru the wrap and the wire insulation. There is another common problem with this vintage, the wire bundle can wear thru where it passes thru the cowl.
