I'm sure you can, unless you buy a crate engine with the belt system already installed, you'd either use your existing system or buy another system if your choice.
So does my old crank pulley (the one on the old motor) bolt to the new engine's crank? I don't know if the pulley is part of the rotating assembly or bolted on later.
Mine bolted to my new harmonic balancer that I bought for my 400. I might be wrong but it should be spec for all or at least most sbc's to have the same bolt pattern on the balancer. I'm sure that there might be some exceptions, but I'd think you'd be alright reusing your crank, water pump, power steering and alternator pulleys on a crate engine. I don't believe they'd work on lt or ls engines.
