Guage lights not working?

Guage lights not working?
NONE of the guages (speedo, tach, battery, fuel etc) work when i turn on the headlights. It just all of a sudden went out a few nights ago. I checked all the fuses and none of them are burnt. Could a wire have fallen off? How do i fix this nucance?

If it is all of the lights, I suspect a bad headlight switch. Check the instrument cluster ground, it should be right on top of the headlight switch connected to the kick panel vent area.

I've recently had this problem with my 79 also. Turned out to be a bad headlight switch. Pretty easy fix. If you need help with it, just drop another post.

Check your tail light fuse. I had that problem on mine and found that the tail light fuse being blown will not let power get to the gauge light fuse. Must be a safety thing.
