81 intermittently won't start
Hello,
My car intermittently will not start after. There is no clicking..no starter turning over... just dead. After it sits awhile, it will turn over and start. Any ideas where I should start?

Check battery cable connectors on both ends of the cable. Also could be the thief deterrant system.
When the engine does not turn-over are you unlocking the door with the key? Do not reach in through an open window and unlock the door; the alarm should go off, but perhaps it is not but the ignition interrupt relay is working....which opens the current going to the starter.
Do any of the dash lights come on? Gauges spring to life when you turn the key ON?
