71 suspension
Has anyone done installed a stage V kit from Ecklers. Wondering how difficult it was and if you need any specific tools. I also am not sure I want to do this to my car it is an all original car I am torn between being a purest and enjoying the car everyday.

I was looking at a suspension refresh but was also thinking there is a lot of technology in the newer parts. Assumed better ride and handling. Maybe a bad assumption. I would like to help the slope in the slope in the steering. Again assumed it was front suspension related could be steering components

You have to determine what you are trying to achieve, a smooth riding cruiser or something that is more intended for weekend competition. As far as slop in the steering you have to determine what is worn out before just throwing parts at the car. Those kits wont cure too much play in the steering box or any other part that is worn and not included in the kit.
