need help!!!! what is the best way to cut out the tac welds in the side pipes to get out the r flow. glass packs, to put in sts baffles? ray

normally they are not welded in, remove them by dropping open end on a piece of soft wood

these are tac welded in hard to get to the welds where the true out is no room for a die grinder or dremel .

Well you can always buy replacement side pipe sections without any mufflers installed...

got one side done, die grinder open end, dremel with flex shaft at turn down end. and a lot of cutting wheels + TIME, this is a bitch, but worth it, new xs power ss 321 side pipes. 3" wheel on die grinder + 1 1/2 wheel on flex shaft

I tried with a dremel also. Pain in the ***. Could not get the ones at the exit side. So I said f**k it and ordered another set of pipes.
