My drivers window lacks about 1/4" from reaching the top when it rolls up.
Is there a way to adjust this? It just doesn't quite seat up against the weatherstripping.
You might be able to raise the upper stops. Do you have the assembly instruction manual (AIM)? The AIM has a page outlining how to set the windows and shows the location of the stops. The stops are at the top of each window channel when you go looking for them
Before you do anything...check it with the door open if it is stopping short when the door is closed....also do it with the engine running. The engine running provides more power due to the alternator is charging the system and takes it above 12 volts.
Also check the teeth on the window regulator. Mine had a few worn teeth and the window wouldn’t go all the way up. Replaced the regulator and greased the track, now the window goes up likes it’s a new car.
