Need to reel this puppy in a bit...
When you say that your interior lights stopped working, do you mean just the instrumentation lights, or all interior courtesy lights etc.
What happened when you checked the fuses? Typically something marked "inst lamps" is a gm fuse box phrasing for what you are experiencing. Quite frankly I couldnt see how it could be anything other than that, other than the unlikely circumstance that each bulb suddenly went dead OR you have the dimmer switch turned as low as possible?

There are a few reasons the courtesy, tach and speedo lights are out.
Check that the Tail Light, Courtesy and Instrument fuses are good and that you have power on both sides of the clips that hold them.
Since you were working on the radio the ground wire may have come off.
On the center gauge cluster the ground wire starts at the black wire in the center of the water temp gauge then connects to the speedo the tach and connects to the frame on the left side just above the bottom of the dash.
