Windshield wiper motor question...
The wipers on my '69 don't work and I'm trying to trace down the problem. I discovered there are two wires going to the front of the wiper motor...one is hanging loose. It looks like the wire is supposed to snap into the front of the motor...but what it snaps into appears to be gone. It seems the other wire is secured properly but I want to know for sure there's supposed to be a terminal end for the loose wire.
If the terminal end is gone, what are my options? Do I have to replace the entire wiper motor assembly to repair this? The AIM and schematic aren't clear on the matter.
Any help is much appreciated.

Yes, I believe they are called bayonet connectors and there should be another 'loop' for the bayonet to slip into. It should be very near the one that's there... the wires come in from opposite directions.

I just took a better look at your second picture and can see where the loop is missing.
The wiper motor cover is on in this picture but you can see the location of the wires. On my 71 it's one yellow and one dark blue wire.
