I preparing to swap frames under my '77. I have a great car with a bad frame and a great frame under a bad car. Simple.
My goal is to disconnect whatever needs to be disconnected, lift the body off of each frame, swap the good body's motor/tranny over to the good frame, and place the good body on the good frame. Then I will hook everything back up and swap over any better suspension parts as needed, although the good frame seems to have a solid suspension with new brakes and shocks which I very recently installed. From there I can take care of any residual details.
I just don't want to re-invent the wheel here or miss some simple detail. I'm looking for some fairly comprehensive instructions and as many good tips as I can get to make it go as smoothly as possible.
Replace the fuel lines and brake lines.
Tons of "while I'm there" jobs on that.

Already planning on that. I have already replaced part of it on the good frame anyway as I was breaking brake lines when I replaced the hoses and calipers. Head start there.
Does it seem like brake lines aren't lasting as long as in the past. I had one with a small leak on my Lincoln and by the time I was done today, all the brake and fuel lines were in such bad shape that they all had to be replaced.
I gues when they go to brake by wire, that will be the end of it. I guess they're working on fuel by wire already.
