71 steering column length
I have a question on the early C3's steering columns.

I do not like how close the steering wheel is to me, and was wondering does a tilt / telescopic column move the steering wheel closer to the dash and is this something someone else has done and give me their opinions.
The vette originally had a 350, but now has a 454, so originality is not an issue to me.
Also, how about a smaller diameter steering wheel???

A t and t will allow the wheel to raise up making it possible to get in under it. Something I wasn't expecting is moving the wheel towards you just a little, also moves it away from you legs. It's a must have if your tall.
