i have two wires that i believe were connected via a fuse link on line comes off of the starter and the other comes out of the main wiring harness coming through the firewall..
does any one have any idea what they are and if this is correct?
another question.
the oil pressure is stuck all the way to the right, any thoughts?
The two wire issue....with out photo's or a better description I would say it is what you think and these fusible links supply power to you electrical system. hard to say without being able to CLEARLY see what you are seeing.
Oil pressure gauge...is either a bad gauge...bad wiring ( ground going to the gauge constantly...or bad printed circuit board on the back of the gauge cluster or a bad sending unit.
Fuel gauge...the same thing (gauge, wiring, circuit board)...or bad sending unit.
you need to pull the gauge cluster and check it out...and I would advise you in getting a wiring diagram on your car.
