Default C-3 wiring
1969 427/390

Could someone help me identify a light tan/cream colored wire coming out of the wiring harness next to the alternator with a hoddy on it. It is about 12 to 15 inches long. I do not see any place where it would snap on. Will be replacing all wiring.

Could it be the wire that goes to the portioning block for your brake warning light?

Hi mrh,
I think Roco is right on.... the brake warning wire is described as a 18 ga. tan wire.
