so , with the oil leak , I've pulled the whole dash out to fix lights and trip reset.
turns out half the screws are missing from the tech and speedo.
got the speedo , and trip reset remounted. tighten the top of the tech, but there isn't any place to attach the bottom part, unless I am missing a bracket.
oh and Bubba must have yanked the tach with the cable still attached. it all cracked around the blue section.
any how does anyone have a picture of the back side of the dash/tach ??

I have seen a lot of the speed and tach housings cracked and tabs broken off. Several of the vendors sell replacements or check eBay and sometimes you can snag one for $20-$40 68-71 are green and 72 -77 are blue.

my 73 is some what different, thinking maybe someone used a different year tach or dash pad. my dash pad has mount hole and locating pin just to the left of the tach, and I don't have that vacuum can .
think I'll snap some pic's. got the cracked tach housing patched up with Q-bond.
