I've seen two varieties of GM Corporate Blue, made by Plasti-Kote or Dupli-Color. The shades are slightly different so don't mix and match them on the same engine. I used the Plasti-Kote on my original L48 before it died... now I'm going to basic black with GM chrome centerbolt valve covers.

If I'm right early -77 engines were still orange and later on they were GM corporate blue. So the engine paint changed in the middle of the model year -77.

I've had a couple of the spray cans that simultaneously spray two different colours of blue..... You should check out my oil pan!
Go with Corporate blue for blue or if you want it orange by all means go orange......... could I sit on the fence anymore?
