Melting Slicks
mmesa,
I would suggest that you procure a factory Cold Air Induction air cleaner system for a factory look. These allow you to use the outside air via the solenoid operated valve in the hood to feed air to the engine. It's probably good for another five horsepower, but it won't rob you of any.

Burning Brakes
Finished removing upper and lower A-arms, ball joints from the driver side of my 69 convertible. Since most of the parts have been on the car from factory, they did not easily come out. But I badly wanted to overhaul the front suspension with new components for a better ride as the rear suspension has already been done.

If if you have a big block the Speed Direct bar may not fit. I had to put an 1/8” spacer between the water pump and the fan to clear the fan. No problem with the p/s pump.
The entire front end is noticeably more solid and ridged with the spreader bar. I highly recommend it. I have no financial interest in Speed Direct.
