Retro Belts
Has anyone used the Retro Seat Belts from Mid America Motorworks? I ordered a pair and nothing is correct on them. Maybe I received a bad part, but the holes are to small for the bolts and the angles on the attaching belts are backwards. Anyone else run into this problem?

No, but I had mine(78) repaired by SSnake-oyl and they did a great job....Customer service was also notable......only had one small problem and they fixed it almost overnight and they paid for shipping both ways..........

Thanks to both of you, I will keep those ideas in mind. I usd my drill press and opened the holes a little more on the shoulder side. As for the latching side, I used the originals since they were in good condition and still have the GM logo on it. I used a mix of original hardware and grade 8, half inch #13 hardware with lockwashers to finish the job. This allowed me to keep the original wiring connected and keep the original look. Again thank you for the advice.

I plan to send my belts/retractors to snake oil this winter. Their work looks pretty good (in the pictures). Price is not cheap but will be nice to have retractors that retract.
