There should be a pair of relays next to each other on a A/C car. They send power for 15 seconds (I think 15) to the a/c compressor when shutting the ignition off to help stop the engine from dieseling.
You can disconnect the green wire going to the compressor at the compressor while the car sits if its draining the battery. One of the relays has the timer in it that trips the other. If need be you can jump that relay and bypass the system.
Bad news, haven't found problem yet. No voltage at the green wire on the compressor.
I did find that the wired to the high speed relay under the hood are burnt. Plastic connector is melted. I unplugged wiring from this relay but still see spark at battery post.
The orange wire runs to the horn relay and should have a inline fuse. Interesting point that your power windows do not work either. There is another orange wire that runs from the horn relay to a 30 amp fuse that is attached to the fire wall that goes the power window relay under the console
I'll check the fuse. I'm sure puzzled at this point.
Charged battery yesterday evening. Let it sit overnight with battery ground disconnected. This morning it shows only 11 volts so I might have killed the battery too.
I'm looking for parts store this morning to get battery checked.
