So I have a 75 corvette, I restored most of the interior and the wipers worked fine before I took everything apart. Well, everything's back together and EVERYTHING works except the stupid wipers, so, I've grounded the switch, grounded the motor, changed the fuse, the only think that's working is the washer motor. I can press down on the switch and the pump works fine, but when I switch back and forth to change between speeds nothing happens. The motor and switch both work because I've installed them in another 75 I have and they work flawlessly... Now, bare with me, I'm 18 as of the 11th, me and my dad have collected corvettes for years, but I'm no expert. Please talk to me like I'm a child. All help is MUCH appreciated!!!

Don't drive on rainy days!
You are on the right track.
Check the fuse again, make sure it is good and passes power on both clips when installed.
The switch needs a ground, usually through the center console itself as long as the console isn't broken.
The wiper motor ground is black and also is a ground for the blower motor. That black ground wire connects to a starter or bellhousing bolt.
As said above Willcox has many how to's, here's one.

A few questions. Do you attach these wires to the terminals on the 123 connector or on the "blades" (terminals) on the motor? In your pic it looks like they are attached to the 123 connector instead. Do these wires used in your pic/vid have alligator clips on the ends or some other type. In your pic/vid you cannot see how they are connected to the battery. Also could you bench test with a smaller battery (ie motorcycle). I ask these questions to ensure I'm connecting the wires properly. Electrical problems are my weak link regarding diagnosis/repair of electrical components on autos.
You might have to visit a parts store to find crimp on connectors that will clip onto the lugs on the wiper motor. Take the wiper motor to the shop and they can help you find the right connectors. You can use a motorcycle battery just as long as it's 12 volts. Small-medium sized alligator clips would be fine for the battery end of your test wires. Good luck!
