80 corvette light switch and gauges
New to the Forum, just bought a 80 vette. Noticed that the dash lights were not working. No fuse. Replaced the fuse and the dash light would work when I turned the light switch however once the dash lights came on the gauges all went dead. So I read an old thread that said it might be the light switch so I replaced the switch but that did not fix the problem. Must be a short but don't know where to look and now my headlights will not go down. Help anyone?

Vacuum lines came off the new headlight switch...or you installed them on the switch incorrectly.
Did you check your GAUGES fuse????
Gauge cluster may need to be removed and checked if you keep popping fuses.

Re-seated the vacuum lines and that did the trick for the headlights. Will check the gauge fuse however they work until I turn the dash lights up. Does look like the circuit board is messed up. I will replace it also. Thanks DUB.
