Cold Start Problem
This is a very strange thing. 1975 350 old carb the car on cold start took 1 or 2 pumps of the gas pedal and she started right up no problem. I had the carb rebuilt and now you have to pump the pedal 10 to 14 time on cold start. After she is warmed up you don't need to touch the pedal to start. What cause this problem?

Did you check with the rebuilder if he did anything to the plugs on the bottom of the carburetor? What kind of fuel filter did he install in the inlet, does it have a one way check valve built in? Did he or you correctly adjust the choke and is the choke pull off working?
