Does anyone know where I can get the connector that connects to the electric choke on a '79 Corvette? I've tried a couple of the major Corvette suppliers but it appears I have to buy the entire engine harness to get it.
Wondering if you guys can help with my 81... Just bought it and putting the original Q-jet back on it. I bought the Haynes manual hoping to help with the various electrical connections to it yet I can't find the one I need...the electric choke. I am fearful the previous owner cut the pigtail but rumor has it it's a blue wire from over by the alternator ?? Can you confirm? Maybe even send me a picture of yours so I can do a visual stare and compare ? Then I will most likely need the pigtail in the above message you guys have ? Thanks for taking the time to respond to this
79 did indeed have a hot air choke if its electric it could be 35 years old but not factory
Definitely came with an M4MC from the factory. First Corvette ME was the E4ME on 1980 LG-4 (305) Corvettes. 1981s got the E4ME and no more carburetors after that.
