69 rear crossmember

I hope Alan sees this post , but anyone can help with pics of how far up the crossmember sits on those metal stubs that you bolt to. Is it flush is there a gap is the rubber cup smashed to the top.

There will be a small gap on top. The crossmember bottoms out on the inside where you can't see it.

That what I thought. Car is sitting up way to high in back. Got to looking and noticed that it looks like the member is not up as far as it should be. Thanks

Yes, as Mike said there will be a small gap when the mounting bolt is fully torqued.

69 crossmember

Well I know I did not replace rubber cups. I don't have the same amount of rubber showing. I wonder what created such a height difference. I will be installing the 7 leaf spring which came with the car and removing the 9 leaf. I don't think that will matter but its what came with the car. Any thoughts anyone .
