Awesome! You are close to the 11s! What RPM are you launching at? Removing the sway bar, over inflating the front tires(less rolling resistance) are a couple little things that help too. Keep up the good work, I love to see other 'Vette owners gracing the 1320!
Bence - Welcome back. Good to see you posting again. I launch just above an idle, about 1,200rpm. I have a 3,000 stall converter, so it jumps off the line pretty well. I run 35 psi in the fronts, so I could benefit from another 10 psi. Thanks.

Actually, my best 60ft is 1.69. That was on one of my handful of 12.1 passes. The car leaves with zero wheelspin so I don't need more weight transfer. I suppose a 3500 stall might be better than the 3000 in there now. About the drag radial diameter, I run 275/60/15s, an inch taller than my 255/60/15 street tires because I am almost running out of usable rpm at the end of the 1/4. At 109 mph I'm turning 5,500. The motor is still pulling at that point but I don't want to push it too far. In high gear the rpms stay up there a lot longer than when winding out first and second. Thanks for your tips, there is always room for improvement.

Throw some skinnies on the front and go 11.99999..
I run a 180 stat. By cold engine, I mean getting to the starting line with the engine around 150. That way the air under the hood is cooler. I normally make sure the engine is 180 - 190 before a run for consistency purposes.

I hit the burn out box at 120*, try to leave the line at 140* or less....Oil temps are usually 180* ish...
Cold water, hot oil = Go FAST...
BlueDawg, My engine made 657hp....But it doesn't make that in the car with smaller headers, full exhaust, no dyno air turbine on the carb (this is good for 10hp on the dyno), turning full accessories... Probably makes an honest 600hp in the car thru the full exhaust and all the parasitics.

Yea I like reading your posts. I can only imagine A 10 second street car is all fangs and venom, just straight band ***. I recently ran my vette and turned a 12.75 second ever pass on a drag strip for me, fun and some what addictive. My glial is to hit 11.9 in street trim.
I'll have to see if I can borrow a pair. If I can catch a good day in November, with -1000 DA, low gas tank level, a cold engine, maybe.
I have a set of skinnies you can use. I was going to use them but I am going to stick with my 18" shoes for now. Next time you go to etown pm me and if I'm going I'll bring the wheels.

Thanks Mark. Maybe we can arrange that for Oct or Nov with real good DA. BTW - I was at Island on Sunday for Nostalgia Day brackets and I ran a 12.34 at 109. Never went that fast in July, so that's a good sign.
I love seeing all these times floating around. Not meaning to jump in with off subject but,,, for the NEW JERSEY guys. Where can I find a good carb guy to get my QuickFuel SS750 dialed in? I have the full jet kit,,PM if ya want,, or,, bacabill@comcast.net
I need to make a trip to Ocean City,Md before I push my luck at the track, just need this thing setup better cause it's going thru gas faster than the Harley. Sorry,, carryon.

Nice! Very stout time for this weather.
Yes good day late in the season sounds good to me too.
I just stuffed a set of 305 45 18 drag radials out back. Gonna finish welding the frame today.
They are nearly 29" tall-I expect to hook my next time out for sure!
