Default 76 Tachometer

Hi all. I replaced rotor, rotor cap and coil this am on 76. The tach was moving erratically. It was fine before changing the parts. Any idea of the cause?

Also, on my second trip since replacing mentiond parts, the tech seemed fine but the radio does not play any sound with the engine running. I can only hear engine noise. However, radio sound does come through when key in "run" and "accessory" positions. I installed a MSD Street Fire coil and MSD rotor and rotor cap.

Any idea of the cause of any of this?

Thanks.

check the tach filter wire connection... between the tach wire and the distributor is a tach filter. Bypass this and see if the issue stays. If it goes away make sure the connectors on the filter are okay, if it doesn't then you have another problem. Plug A up to the distributor direct...

I think you have two issues anyway..... The tach input wire, power and ground are on their own circuit.
